ProPlates are perfect for enlarging your router's base! They drop easily into ALL Bench Dog router tables. All models are 8-1/4" x 11-3/4" x 3/8" (note, the actual thinkness may vary slightly), and include instructions and drilling template (should drilling be required). The Predrilled models include mounting hardware. Aluminum models include two reducer rings, antivibration shim, and starting pin.

Aluminum

Our aluminum ProPlates are the best plates you can buy. They are precision machined on CNC mills, and then hard-coat anodized for extreme wear resistance. All three models include two router bit reduction rings, starting pin, anti-vibration shim, router mounting hardware, and instructions. Be sure to check out our our optional Zero Clearance Insert (stock No. 40-039) and Porter-Cable style Guide Bushing Adapter (stock no. 40-015).

Phenolic

Phenolic ProPlates are the sensible choice for most applications. They are tough, resistant to sag, and economical. We machine all our ProPlates on CNC mills for the ultimate in accuracy. To change bit openings, simply swap out the plate. It takes less than a minute. ProPlates also work great for enlarging your router's base for freehand work.

Acrylic

Our acrylic ProPlate is designed for use with a Porter-Cable style guide bushing (PCGB), making this plate perfect for use with dovetail jigs, as well as enlarging your router's sub base. This see-through plate is ideal for freehand work.

Which Plate Should I Buy?

Our plates are pre-drilled for many routers, but for some routers, you may need to drill holes in the plate by using the included drilling template.
